What is Learning Post High School?
Learning Post High School is a fully WASC accredited Independent Study High School recognized by the State of California offering an alternative education program.

We prepare students to meet the challenges of the future as lifelong learners and responsible citizens by providing an alternative learning environment. The staff, in partnership with parents and the community, provide the structure and challenges from which students can reach their highest potential and develop knowledge, skills and character necessary to succeed. We emphasize self-respect, respect for others, fairness and responsibility for one's actions.

Our program specializes in meeting the individual learning needs of students, grades 7-12, and families. Independent study students are students who are self-motivated and capable of working on their own with minimal direct instruction. From highly motivated students who would like to graduate early and begin college to students who are behind in credits.  The reasons are as unique as our students.  For over 30 years Learning Post has assisted students in reaching their individual academic goals.

Learning Post High School offers a variety of program options including: independent school opportunities, online courses, and the option to attend courses on the comprehensive schools site or a combination of programs. Students and families receive a personalized learning plan, support from highly qualified instructors, A-G approved and college prep courses, study support groups, and one-on-one instructional support when necessary.

Our program will provide:
